JAWWAD AHMED FARID
Chief Executive Officer
Jawwad is a Fellow Society of Actuaries (Schaumburg, IL), an
MBA from Columbia Business School (NYC) and a Computer Science
graduate. During the last 15 years, he has worked as a consultant
in North America, the Middle East, Pakistan and United Kingdom
with a number of blue chip clients. Jawwad is also the appointed
Actuary for State Life Corporation of Pakistan and Dawood Family
Takaful Limited. Jawwad’s core areas of expertise include
Asset/Risk Management, Investments, Product development, Derivatives,
the financial services Middle Office and the Basel II Regulatory
Frame work.

IMRAN CHISHTI
Director
Imran has a Masters from the London School of Economics and
an MBA from Pepperdine University in California. His roles have
spanned banking, insurance, institutional sales, program and
product management, as well as running the operations of a consumer
goods company. He has over 16 years of experience with blue-chip
companies including Morgan Stanley, MetLife, and Orascom Telecom
in the USA, UK, and Pakistan. |

MOHTASHIM AHMED
Director – Business & Product Development
Mohtashim has a Bachelors in Computer Science from University
of Texas at Austin and over 7 years of experience working as
a technology professional with emphasis on software development,
IT consultancy and project implementation at organizations such
as Clearcube Technology in the US and IBM and Inbox in Pakistan.

MUJTABA IQBAL
Director – Corporate Strategy
Mujtaba is a CFA level III candidate and Finance and Accounting
major from Drexel University. Prior to Alchemy his last role
was Director Consulting at Deloitte & Touche, Pakistan.
At Alchemy Mujtaba’s focus has been on corporate affairs,
feasibilities, due diligences, valuations, special investigations
and financial advisory.

ARIF RASOOL
Director
Arif has a BA in Mathematics and Economics from University College of North Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (England & Wales). He has over 14 years experience working for Prudential UK in several actuarial capacities, followed by 2 years with AIG group’s American Life Insurance Operations in Pakistan.

ARIF IRFANULLAH
Director
Arif has a Bachelors in Engineering from Dartmouth College and
an MBA from the University of Chicago. Arif worked seven years
at Oracle Corporation and eight years at MindTree Ltd. where he
was responsible for the Middle East operation. In June 2008
Arif joined Alchemy Technologies as a Director. |

FAWZIA SALAHUDDIN
Director – Technology and Project Management
Fawzia holds a Masters and Bachelors in Computer Science from
FAST-ICS and
is also a certified Project Management Professional
(PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Over her
15 year career she has worked as a project manager and team
leader with multinational firms and software houses in Pakistan
and North America. At Alchemy, Fawzia runs the software development
and technology team.

UZMA SALAHUDDIN
Director – Client Services & Deployment
Uzma has a Masters from London Guildhall University and has
multiple years of project management experience. She has worked
primarily in England with extensive project management experience
relating within web based and Interactive Television projects.
Uzma is responsible for client services and implementation of
Alchemy Risk Manager Product line.

ERUM KHALID
Director – Technology
Erum has a Masters and Bachelors in Computer Science from FAST-ICS.
Prior to joining Alchemy, Erum was on the faculty of FAST-ICS
and also worked at Unisys as a business analyst. Erum has been
with Alchemy since 2003 as a senior software developer and team
lead.

REHANA MOIZ
Director – Product Development and Domain
Rehana is a Bachelors in Computer Science from FAST-ICS and
a gold medalist MBA in Finance from Szabist, Pakistan. As the
head research and development at Alchemy, Rehana’s strengths
lie on financial management, derivative instruments, Basel II
and State Bank of Pakistan’s Risk Management and compliance
frameworks. She is currently a CFA level II and FRM candidate.
