Going postal on traffic lights

I have picked up a nasty habit of acting as an enforcer on traffic lights. I think I will bear one, may be two cars, breaking a yellow light; but when an entire mob rams through a red light without any signs of stopping for cars that actually have the right of way (by virtue of a green light), I see red.

For a chance to see my fine act in first person, please join me early morning at the Stadium Road and General Colony intersection or a few minutes later at the Tariq Road and Shahrae-Qaideen Intersection. I am the loudmouth, who honks his way in front of motor cycles, buses, vans and on occassions trucks who refuse to stop at the red light. Also the persistent SOB who refuses to move on a red light irrespective of how much or how loud YOU honk your horn.

Inspiration for this behaviour an old quote from really old days that said something along the lines of: In the beginning I fought the world because I wanted to change the world; Now I fight because I don't want the world to change me.

Do Karachi a small favour, respect red lights.

I freakin' can't stand who break red lights and those creepers who are always edging forward when the light is red.

For this reason alone, I've mastered the art of road-rage and why I pack a gun. One day, I am gonna lose it.
