Traveling Dervish

Beginning September 2005, we have now been to Dubai (GITEX), KL, Malaysia (Single Country Exhibition), Manama, Bahrain (MEFTEC), Chiang Mai, Thailand (APICTA), Shanghai, Hangzhou and Dalian, China (ASOCIO MTV trip).

Five countries and some really beautiful cities but I am still sold on Karachi. I think our personal networth is directly correlated to the size of our network and for someone born, raised and educated in Karachi, the only place that feels and works like home is home ground.

Yes there are issues, there will always be issues but the funny thing is that irrespective of where you decide to run away, you will always find issues. Dubai, KL, Manama, Chiang Mai, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Dalian, all have their respective problem that you will not discover during a short trip or visit. However once you move in you will find the real truth.

The good news is that we found Halal food in all five countries and seven cities. Dubai, KL and Manama we expected. Chiang Mai (night bazar) and China were pleasant surprises.
