Moved back to PKLand, specifically Karachi, in Jan 2003. Had some interesting experiences before and after the move. Here's to other expats in similar positions who would like to see home through desi return eyes.

Sunday mornings from 8 am till 2 pm the roads are like 24 hour super market aisles at midnight - empty and clear for speeding. When you make it in 25 minutes from Gulshan to Karachi Gymkhana, you realize it is not a bad city. Take care of the traffic, improve the quality of roads, add a few more things to do on Sundays and you will have your name on decent places to live list
