Midnight Philosophy

1. Middle age is when you finally accept that you really can’t have every thing that you want and it is really not the end of the world.

2. Middle age is when you finally get where you have been trying to get for all of your life and you realize that “the trying to get to” part was a lot more fun then the “actually arriving” bit.

3. Middle age is when you finally get your closet filled with your own secrets that you would like to keep all to yourself.

4. Middle age is when you find yourself alone in a crowd and can still have a great time by having a conversation with your shadow(s).

5. Middle age is when the only time you could find for having your daily workout is way past midnight or way before sun rise.

6. Middle age is when you wish you could fall in love all over again but don’t know who, how, where, when, or even why.

7. Middle age is when you try to come up with your list of a hundred interesting things about me but can't get past number five.

8. Middle age is when you would rather be alone with your laptop at the stroke of midnight plugging meaningless gibberish into your blog than go to sleep.
